With over 20 years of experience in sports performance and exercise physiology, Chad Waelchli brings unmatched expertise to the Powerballers Athletic Center. His career includes roles as a Sports Performance Coordinator at St. Luke’s Sports Medicine, business owner, university professor, and director at nationally recognized training facilities.
Chad has trained athletes and clients of all ages and skill levels — from youth athletes and personal training clients to NFL combine participants, Olympic cyclists, minor league baseball players, and MMA fighters. His work emphasizes functional movement, performance enhancement, and long-term athletic development.

Laura Hoffert
PAC Events Director
Laura Hoffert is a passionate youth leader and mentor with over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and families. She has directed impactful programs like the Bethlehem Christian Youth Basketball League and served as Youth Director at her church, focusing on faith, mentorship, and community outreach. With professional experience in mental health counseling, Laura is dedicated to empowering the next generation through her energy, compassion, and leadership.

Trey Durrah
Assistant General Manager, Hitting / Clinic Coach
Former Lehigh University Assistant Coach and previously at Muhlenberg College. Trey played at Lafayette College where he excelled as an outfielder, earning first-team All-Patriot League honors in 2019. Trey was a Preseason All-Patriot League honoree prior to the cancellation of the 2020 campaign.

Matt McBride, a Bethlehem, PA native and Liberty High School graduate, was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the second round of the 2006 MLB Draft out of Lehigh University. A versatile player, Matt excelled as a catcher, first baseman, and outfielder during his professional career, which included stints with the Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies, Oakland Athletics, and Philadelphia Phillies. At Lehigh, he earned All-Patriot League honors and hit for the triple crown in his junior year. Matt’s professional accolades include multiple All-Star selections and recognition as a top prospect in the Arizona Fall League.

Steve Hultgren
Strength Coach
Steve Hultgren is a seasoned Speed & Agility and Strength Coach at Powerballers Athletic Center with over a decade of experience in sports performance and medicine. Holding a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology, he has served in key roles, including Director of Sports Medicine Partnerships at Lehigh Valley Health Network and Head Sports Performance Coach at Coordinated Health. Steve is passionate about helping athletes maximize their potential through expert training and personalized programs.

Kevin Wilson

2013 USA Hitting Coach / Gold medalist. For over 20 years, Kevin Wilson has been one of the most sought-after hitting consultants in the game working with players throughout Major League Baseball.

Chad played collegiate baseball at North Carolina Wesleyan College and East Stroudsburg University. A standout catcher, he earned All-Area and All-State recognition and participated in professional workouts with the Florida Marlins and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He was also scouted by the Colorado Rockies and declined a free-agent offer from the Philadelphia Phillies in order to pursue his graduate studies and research.

Jon Michael Vito
Baseball / Softball Hitting Coach and Catching Lesson Coach
Jon Michael Vito, a former Team MVP at Misericordia University, has over 20 years of coaching experience. He’s held assistant coaching roles at Allentown Central Catholic, Muhlenberg College, and Moravian University. Since 2021, Jon has served as a Coach, Technical Director, and Assistant Recruiting Coach at Powerballers Athletic Center, helping athletes excel with his expertise in player development and recruiting.​

Gabe Mosser

Former All State pitcher at Parkland High School. Gabe played at Shippensburg University and was PSAC freshman of the year in 2015 and drafted in 2018 . Gabe is a right handed pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies Organization AAA affiliate Iron Pigs. Played for the San Diego Padres Organization. for the AA affiliate, San Antonio Mission.

Tyler Diefenbach
Pitching Lesson Coach
Former 3-year letterman for Phillipsburg High School. Tyler pitched his freshman year at Montclair State before heading to Northampton Community College his sophomore year. He then moved on to Indiana University Pennsylvania his junior and senior year. He was a volunteer Assistant Coach at IUP and is the current 15U Powerballers Baseball Head Coach.

2023 Morning Call and Lehigh Valley Live Coach Of The Year. Current Head Coach at Bangor High School. Anthony was a four-year letterman at Pius X High School where he set the school record for strikeouts in a season and continued his baseball career at Moravian University.

Former Penn State Softball Player and an assistant coach at Muhlenberg College. Crivellaro is the Athletic Director at Moravian Academy.

Kylee Sutton
Softball Hitting Coach
Kylee played at Easton High School as a 2nd baseman, 4yr varsity starter. She played tournament softball as a SS for 3yrs for PA Outlaws 18u Elite. She continued her education & softball career at Penn State Hazleton for 2 years, playing 2nd base as a Nittany Lion. Kylee was an Assistant coach at Palisades High School for 2 years while also helping at 10u Forks Thunder practices. Kylee is currently the varsity assistant coach for Easton High School.

Emily Smull
Softball Pitching Lesson Coach
Emily is a distinguished athlete and passionate coach known for her impressive accomplishments. A three-time District XI Champion and four-time Colonial League finalist, she received numerous accolades, including three selections to the First Team All Colonial League, as well as Morning Call and Express Times honors, and the 2014 First Team All-State recognition at Pen Argyl Area High School. At Cabrini University, she was a two-time First Team All CSAC, an ECAC South Honorable Mention, and a two-time Academic All-American.With a wealth of coaching experience at both high school and tournament levels, Coach Emily seamlessly blends her competitive drive with a commitment to nurturing young talent. As a Special Education teacher at Phillipsburg High School, she holds a Master's degree in Special Education from Lehigh University, enhancing her ability to connect with and inspire her players

Kaira Zamadics

Kaira is going into her Senior year at Shippensburg University and a local graduate from Northampton Area High School where she played 4 years at the varsity level.
