Matt McBride, a Bethlehem, PA native and Liberty High School graduate, was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the second round of the 2006 MLB Draft out of Lehigh University. A versatile player, Matt excelled as a catcher, first baseman, and outfielder during his professional career, which included stints with the Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies, Oakland Athletics, and Philadelphia Phillies. At Lehigh, he earned All-Patriot League honors and hit for the triple crown in his junior year. Matt’s professional accolades include multiple All-Star selections and recognition as a top prospect in the Arizona Fall League
